Apply your brand to new emails

Short answer

Set your colors, fonts, and logo on the Brand page and select Save kit. Every email you create after that starts in your brand.

When you’re done, each email you create starts in your brand. Saving your kit is what puts it there.

  1. Select your avatar at the top right and choose All settings, then Brand.
  2. Set your colors, fonts, and logo in their cards. Scan my site fills most of them from your website. See The Brand page.
  3. Select Save kit at the bottom of the page. Jounce says Kit saved. New emails use it, with Undo beside it.

Until you select Save kit, your changes to the colors, fonts, and logo aren’t kept. Leave the page without saving, and your brand stays as it was.

What a new email takes from your brand

Every email you create uses your whole kit, whether you start from a template, with AI, or from scratch. That’s all four colors, both fonts, the shape, your logo, and your social links. While it’s a draft, it picks up each change you save. Once it’s scheduled, it keeps the look you approved.

The same kit opens from inside the email. Select the space around the email, then Brand kit in the settings panel.

Older emails

An older email opens in the earlier editor, which shows the email’s name at the top left. It takes your brand one block at a time, as you add each block:

  • Brand colors its buttons and colored bands, in shades that keep the text readable.
  • Highlight colors the small labels above headings. While Highlight follows Brand, the labels take Brand.
  • Your heading font goes on its headings, and your body font on its text. When the editor doesn’t offer your font, Jounce uses the closest one it has.
  • Your logo fills an empty logo spot.

Photos, body text, and any color you picked yourself stay as they are. Your Button and Canvas colors don’t reach these emails. A later save doesn’t repaint a block already there, so change it in the editor.

The switch for older emails

The Apply my brand to older emails switch shows only for an account that turned it off. It sits on the Brand page, below the Brand profile card. Its hint says When it’s off, an older email’s empty logo spot stays empty, and blocks you add to it don’t take your brand. The same goes for your confirmation email.

Turn it on, and it saves at once. Saving your kit leaves the switch as it is, and it never reaches an email you create.
