Why isn’t my email on the calendar?

Short answer

The calendar shows emails that have a send date: scheduled, sending, sent, canceled, or failed. A draft has no date, so it stays on the Emails list until you schedule or send it.

It’s almost always a draft. Your email is safe on the Emails tab. The calendar shows an email on the day it went out or is due to go out. A draft has no such day yet.

Check these in order

  • The status label reads Draft. Schedule or send the email and it shows up on its day. See Send or schedule your email.
  • You’re on a different month. The calendar opens on this month. Use Previous month and Next month at the top right, or Today to come back.
  • The label reads Canceled. It’s still there, on the day it was due, with its name struck through.
  • The email went out later than planned. A sent email sits on the day it went out. That is the day you scheduled, unless the send was held and released later.
  • Nothing sent or scheduled yet. The tab says Nothing on the calendar yet until your first send or schedule.

The day it shows on

Days are counted in your computer’s time zone, the same one you schedule in. An email set for late evening can sit on the next day for a teammate in another time zone.
