Why can’t I see results for an email?

Open Emails

Results open from a sent email.

Short answer

There is no finished send to count yet, or the send predates tracking. The results page says which in one line, and a dash for one number means it wasn’t tracked.

The results page counts a send once it finishes, or once you stop it. Until then it shows one line that says where the email is, and nothing is wrong.

What the page says

  • This email hasn’t been sent. It’s a draft. Your delivery numbers show up here once this email goes out. Edit email opens it.
  • Scheduled for and the date. The send is set. Your delivery numbers show up here once this email goes out. Edit email opens the editor.
  • Sending now. The send is going out. Your delivery numbers show up here once this email finishes going out. Reopen the page in a few minutes.
  • Sending was canceled. You stopped it, and the line says whether anyone got it first. If no one did, Admins and Managers also see Review and send, which opens the send steps to send it again. Right after a stop, the line may read Jounce can’t say yet whether any went out while the send is still stopping. Reopen the page in a minute or so. A canceled email that reached people shows its numbers instead, and the count at the top says how many it reached. If part of the send was interrupted, there may be no numbers to show. The line then starts At least, or reads Jounce can’t confirm whether any went out before it stopped.
  • No delivery data for this email. This email went out before Jounce started keeping these numbers. Older sends have no numbers, and they won’t appear later.
  • Partly sent. Jounce can’t confirm this email finished going out, so part of this audience may already have it. Part of the send was interrupted before Jounce could count it, so there are no numbers to show. See Why does my email say Partly sent?
  • Jounce couldn’t find this email. It may have been deleted. The link you followed points at an email that no longer exists.
  • Couldn’t load these results. The page couldn’t reach Jounce. Your email and its numbers are safe. Select Try again.

When one number is a dash

The send finished, but that number wasn’t measured. Open rate and Click rate read Not tracked for this email when it went out before Jounce began tracking opens and clicks. They won’t fill in later. See How Jounce counts opens, clicks, and bounces.

When a breakdown is missing

Opens by mail app started later than opens themselves. A send from before then shows its numbers but not that list. Clicks by device needs at least one click. See Opens by mail app and clicks by device.

Note The numbers on the Emails page’s list view come from the same send. If they show a dash there, the results page says why here. See Why do my email’s numbers show a dash?
