Create an email
The Create email screen, the template gallery, starting with AI or from scratch, and what every new email starts with.
- The Create email screenCreate email opens a screen that asks how you want to start. Start with a template opens the gallery, Start with AI drafts from your description, and Start from scratch opens the editor on an empty email.
- The template galleryThe gallery’s goal buttons and Industry menu narrow the cards as you pick. Selecting a card makes the email at once and opens it in the editor.
- Start an email with AISelect Create email, then Start with AI, describe the email, and select Generate email. The editor opens at once and Jounce builds the draft in front of you, in your brand, with a chat ready for changes.
- What an AI draft leaves to youJounce drafts the whole email first and fills in details your description didn’t give, which stay yours to keep or change. Before you send lists only what’s broken or empty, and the send waits until only Worth a look lines are left.
- Start an email from scratchSelect Create email, then Start from scratch below the two boxes. The editor opens on an empty email with a tray of layouts, and Jounce saves it once you add the first block.
- What a new email starts withAn email from a template is your own copy of it, with its photos, subject line, and preview text; one from scratch starts empty. Both wear your brand kit, and Jounce adds your mailing address and the unsubscribe line at the bottom.
- Apply your brand to new emailsSet your colors, fonts, and logo on the Brand page and select Save kit. Every email you create after that starts in your brand.
- Why doesn’t my new email use my brand?Usually your brand isn’t saved yet: set your colors, fonts, and logo on the Brand page and select Save kit. Every email you create wears the saved kit, however you start it.
- Why don’t I see every template?The gallery opens on the industry in your Brand profile. To see every template, select Show templates from all industries at the end of the list.
