Your emails
The Emails page, what each status means, the Calendar tab, and how to rename, copy, preview, cancel, and delete an email.
- The Emails pageEmails shows every email you’ve made as a card, with its status label and when it was drafted, edited, sent, or scheduled. Search, Sort, Status, and Folder sit above the cards, with Create email at the right.
- Email statusesEvery email wears one status label, and it says where the send stands: not sent yet, waiting to go, going out, or finished. The same status shows on the card, in the list, in the Status menu, and on the calendar.
- The Calendar tabThe Calendar tab shows a month at a time, with each email on the day it went out or is due, including canceled and failed ones. Drafts stay on the Emails list until they have a date.
- Schedule an email from the calendarOn the Calendar tab, select the + on the day you want and make your email. When you reach the Review step, the schedule is already set to that day at 9:00 AM.
- Rename an emailOn the Emails page, open the three dots on the email’s card, choose Rename, type the name, and select Save. The card shows the new name at once.
- Duplicate an emailOpen the three dots on the email’s card and choose Duplicate. The copy appears on the Emails page as a draft with the same name and design.
- Preview a sent or scheduled emailOn the Emails page, open the three dots on a sent or scheduled email and choose Preview. It opens the way a subscriber’s mail app shows it, with Desktop, Mobile, and Plain text views.
- Cancel a scheduled or sending emailChoose Cancel sending from the three dots on the email’s card, while its chip reads Scheduled, Sending, Sending winner, or A/B testing. A scheduled email stops at once; one already going out asks you to confirm first, and anyone who has it keeps it.
- Delete an emailChoose Delete email from the three dots on the email’s card and confirm; the email and its results are gone for good. If it’s scheduled or sending, Jounce stops the send first and deletes nothing until it confirms the stop.
- Why can’t I delete an email? If Delete email is missing from the menu, your workspace role is Editor; only Managers and Admins can delete emails. If a delete fails, your email stays on the list, and the window says why.
- Why isn’t my email on the calendar? The calendar shows emails that have a send date: scheduled, sending, sent, canceled, or failed. A draft has no date, so it stays on the Emails list until you schedule or send it.
- Why do my email’s numbers show a dash?In the list view, a dash under Recipients, Open rate, or Click rate usually means there is no finished send to count. Drafts and scheduled emails show dashes until they go out.
