Step 5 of 5
Send or schedule your email
Short answer
In the editor select Continue, then walk three steps: Recipients, Subject, and Review. Keep Send now and select the send button, or choose Schedule and pick a time.
When you’re done, Jounce shows Sent or Scheduled, and the email’s status on your Emails page says the same.
-
In the editor, select Continue at the top right. The send steps open full screen, with Recipients, Subject, and Review across the top. If Before you send still has something to fix, a note over the list says what’s left instead, and Show me takes you to it. Fix it, then select Continue again.

-
Recipients asks Who’s this going to? Under Segments, search and pick a segment — a saved group of subscribers, like the one a CSV import makes. Or select Add people and pick subscribers one by one, by name or address. The number above counts who will get it. Select Continue.
-
Subject asks you to Write the subject line. Add a line of Preview text too; it’s Shown after the subject in the inbox. Select Continue.
-
Review says Ready to send and shows To, Subject, and From. Edit takes you back to a step. Change beside From lets you set the name subscribers see.
-
Under When, keep Send now, or choose Schedule and pick the date, time, and time zone.
-
Select the button at the bottom. It reads Send to and the number of subscribers, or Schedule for the time you picked.
What Jounce asks first
- If your email address isn’t verified yet, a dialog says Verify your email to send. See Verify your email address.
- If your mailing address is missing, the review step says Your postal address has to be on every email. Select Add it and fill it in. See Add your mailing address.
- If your brand kit isn’t saved yet, the review step says Save your brand kit to send this email. Select Open your brand kit, check it, and select Save kit. Then select the send button again.
- The send button stays off until at least one person can receive the email. An address that can’t receive mail is named on the Recipients step, with Fix it or remove it to continue.
- If the last button reads Save and hand off instead, that’s because of your role. See Workspace roles.
What you see after
- Sent. Jounce notes that first opens usually land within the hour, and your results fill in as they do. A big send goes out in steady batches, and you can leave the page while it continues.
- Scheduled. Jounce names the date and time. You can cancel it from the emails list any time before then.
Each step has its own article, from excluding people to testing two subject lines. Start with The send steps.
Next step
The Sent screen is explained in The page after you send.
