Why does my form’s link say it isn’t available?
Short answer
The form is a draft, it was deleted, or your workspace’s handle changed after you shared the link. Publishing again from Share turns the link back on; after a handle change, share the link again.
A visitor sees one of two things. On the longer Jounce address, they see This form isn’t available, then It may have been unpublished, or the link is incorrect. On your myjounce.com address, they see a Jounce page that says the link doesn’t lead anywhere. Your form and its settings are untouched either way. Open Forms and check these.
The form is a draft
The card’s label reads Draft. Only a live form has a working link. Open the form, select Share, and select Publish form or Publish page. The link comes back exactly as it was. See Publish your form.
Every form went back to Draft at once
If every form you published reads Draft at the same time, a person at Jounce may have taken your workspace’s pages offline. Nothing is deleted when that happens.
Publishing one of them tells you which it is. An ordinary draft goes live, and its link comes back. If publishing is paused, the form stays a draft. A red notice in Share starts Someone at Jounce took this workspace’s pages offline. For what to do, see Why can’t I publish my form?.
You published it a moment ago
For a short while after the page goes live, an address that said isn’t available can keep saying it. Open the link again a few minutes later, or in a private window, and the page is there.
The form was deleted
Deleting a form takes it offline first, and its link stops working for good. If the form isn’t on the Forms page or in any folder, that’s what happened. Create a form again and share its link. See Draft and live.
Your handle changed
Every published link starts with your workspace’s handle. That’s the first part of its Jounce address, not a social media handle. If someone changes it under Settings › Public address, the old links stop working. The pages move to the new address.
If a page stays behind, Jounce says so when the handle is saved. Open that page and change anything, and it moves.
Open each live page’s Share, select Copy link, and replace the old link wherever you posted it. The old links don’t come back. When you type an old handle, the page reads This is your current address. and shows no Save handle. See Your page’s address.
The link was typed or trimmed
A link pasted by hand can lose its ending. Copy it again with Copy link in Share, and paste the whole thing.
It’s an inline form showing the notice
The code on your site is from a form that’s a draft again. Publish the form, or take the code off the site. See Unpublish a form.
