Settings
What happens when someone fills in your form: the segments they join, whether they confirm by email, and the email you get. Also what they see next, when a pop-up shows, a shared link’s line, and a hosted page’s tracking.
- The Settings dialogSettings, at the top right of the editor, holds what your form does when someone fills it in. Segments, opt-in, your signup email, what they see next, pop-up timing, link preview and tracking each save on their own.
- Send new subscribers to a segmentIn the form’s editor, open Settings and under Where subscribers go, pick a segment or type a name to create one. Everyone who signs up through the form joins those segments.
- Ask people to confirm their subscriptionIn the form’s Settings, the Consent switch Ask people to confirm their subscription (opt-in) starts on: signups stay Unconfirmed until they click the confirmation link. Off, they’re Subscribed as soon as they submit, except in a rush past the form’s limit.
- Get an email when someone signs upIn the form’s Settings, the Notify me switch Email me when someone signs up starts on. Jounce emails the workspace owner at most once an hour per form, and each email ends with a link that stops them for every form.
- Redirect to a page after they submitOn a full page or a link-in-bio page, open Settings, pick Redirect to a URL under After they submit, and type the address. A pop-up or an inline form can’t redirect; it shows its thank-you screen.
- Choose when a pop-up showsIn a pop-up’s Settings, the When it shows menu sets when it appears, and the After it’s dismissed menu sets how long it stays away. The timing lives in the embed code: after a change, leave the editor and open the form again, then copy fresh code from Share.
- Write a link previewOn a full page or a link-in-bio page, open Settings and write a sentence or two under Link preview. It shows under your page’s name when someone shares the link.
- Add Meta Pixel or Google AnalyticsOn a full page or a link-in-bio page, open Settings and paste your Meta Pixel ID or Google Analytics ID under Tracking. Your own analytics then count the page’s visits and signups.
- Why didn’t I get an email when someone signed up?Usually they haven’t confirmed, one email counted several signups, it went to the workspace owner, the owner’s email isn’t verified, or the switch is off. A busy moment or a daily limit can also hold the email, and the signup is safe in Audience either way.
- Why isn’t my pop-up showing?Usually your browser remembers that you closed it or signed up, so it stays away for you while visitors still see it. Open your site in a private window to check; your form and its settings are untouched.
- Why doesn’t my form redirect after they submit?Nothing is lost: visitors see the thank-you screen, and a pop-up or an inline form always shows it. On a full page or a link-in-bio page, check that Redirect to a URL is chosen and the address is a real web address.
