Fields
What your form asks for. The nine fields and where their answers go, adding and removing them, their labels, required fields, the one-line sign-up bar, and the consent checkbox.
- The fields you can ask forA form can ask for nine things: email, first and last name, company, job title, industry, street address, phone and a consent checkbox. Email is always on, and each answer lands on the person’s page.
- Add or remove a fieldUnder Elements in the settings panel, turn a field’s switch on to add it or off to remove it. A removed field is hidden, not deleted, and the email field always stays.
- Change a field’s labelSelect the field on the form, then click it again and type over its label. The name its answers save under stays the same.
- Make a field requiredSelect the field and turn Required on in the settings panel, and a visitor can’t submit until it’s filled in. The email field is always required.
- Put the field and button on one lineAn inline form already puts the email field and the button side by side. On a full page, select the sign-up fields, choose Swap design, and pick the design with the button beside the box.
- The consent checkboxTurn on Consent under Elements and your form shows a checkbox with words you write. The tick saves as Yes or No on the person’s page, but it doesn’t stop a submission or send a confirmation email.
