Put the field and button on one line
Short answer
An inline form already puts the email field and the button side by side. On a full page, select the sign-up fields, choose Swap design, and pick the design with the button beside the box.
When you’re done, your form asks for an email address on one line, with the button beside the box.
Every inline form comes this way, and its design comes as one piece, so there is nothing to change. A pop-up and a link-in-bio page keep their fields stacked, with the button full width below them.
On a full page
- Select the email field, then press Esc. The whole block of sign-up fields is selected, and the settings panel’s heading reads Sign-up fields.
- Select Swap design, beside the name. The panel shows the designs the sign-up fields can take.
- Pick the card with the button beside the box. The form changes at once, and the heading reads Sign-up bar.
To stack them again, select Swap design and pick the other card, or select Undo in the top bar. Your words and fields carry over both ways. See Swap your form’s design.
Other fields, and narrow screens
Only the email field shares the button’s line. Any other field you switch on stacks above it, and the consent checkbox takes a line of its own below.
Where the form is narrow, such as on a phone, the field and the button stack again, with the button full width. Select Phone in the top bar to see it. See See your form on a phone.
Next step
Choose what else the form asks for in Add or remove a field.
