Why isn’t my pop-up showing?

Short answer

Usually your browser remembers that you closed it or signed up, so it stays away for you while visitors still see it. Open your site in a private window to check; your form and its settings are untouched.

Open your site in a private window first. If the pop-up shows there, your visitors see it, and your own browser is what’s holding it back. Then check these.

You closed it, or you signed up

After a close, the pop-up stays away for the time set under After it’s dismissed. That’s 7 days unless you changed it. After a signup, it never shows again in that browser. The browser keeps track, so it shows fresh in a private window, another browser, or on another device. See Choose when a pop-up shows.

It’s waiting for a scroll

With When they scroll 30%, the pop-up appears once the visitor scrolls about a third of the way down. On a page too short to scroll, it appears after 10 seconds instead. On a longer page, someone who stops before that point won’t see it. If that’s a worry, pick a timed choice instead.

You changed the timing after pasting the code

The timing lives in the embed code on your site. A change in Settings reaches the site only when you paste fresh code. The editor reads the timing when it opens. So select Forms at the far left to leave, open the form again, then select Share. Copy the code and replace the old code on your site.

The form isn’t live

A draft has no working link and no working code. Open the form and select Share at the top right: the panel says Live when the form is live. See Publish your form.

The code isn’t on the page

The pop-up shows only on pages that carry its code. Whoever looks after your website can check the page for a block that begins Jounce pop-up form. Share in the editor has the code to paste again.
