Why didn’t Jounce draft my automation?

A draft that fails leaves nothing behind. No automation is added to your list, and your description stays in the box. The line Jounce shows says which of these happened.

Automation drafting isn’t available — nothing was created. Start from a template instead.	Drafting from a description is switched off.	Start with a template, or from scratch.
You’ve drafted a lot of automations recently. Give it a few minutes and try again.	Your workspace has drafted many automations in a short time.	Wait a few minutes, then select Generate automation again.
Jounce couldn’t draft that automation — nothing was created. Try describing it differently.	The description didn’t give Jounce enough to build a trigger and steps from.	Say what starts it, which emails go out, and how long to wait.
Jounce paused AI features for everyone for now. Nothing was changed, and everything else works as usual. Try again later — they’re back within a day.	Jounce has paused its AI features for every workspace, not only yours.	Try again later, or start from a template.
You’ve reached your AI limit for now. It opens again at a time it names.	You’ve used all the AI you can for now.	Try again after that time, or start from a template.
Jounce is busy right now. Nothing’s changed — give it a moment and try again.	The drafting service was briefly unavailable.	Try again in a moment.
That run failed — nothing was created. Give it another go. / Try again.	Jounce stopped partway, before any draft was saved.	Select Generate automation again.
Couldn’t save the draft — nothing was created. Try again.	Jounce drafted the steps but couldn’t save them to your workspace.	Select Generate automation again.

If a line from the table comes back twice, start from a template instead. Every template opens with its steps drawn, and you finish it the same way you would a draft. See Create an automation from a template.

Generate automation stays grey until the box has words in it, and while a draft is running. Once the line appears, the button is ready again.

If Jounce says your account isn’t allowed

Jounce says That didn’t save — your account isn’t allowed to make that change here anymore. Nothing changed; refresh to see what you can do. Your account can no longer edit this workspace, for example because an admin removed you.
