Create an automation
The Create automation screen, the template gallery, starting with AI or from scratch, and what a new draft still needs from you.
- The Create automation screenCreate automation opens a screen that asks How do you want to start? Pick Start with a template, Start with AI, or the smaller Start from scratch button below them.
- Create an automation from a templateOpen Automations, select Create automation, choose Start with a template, and select a card. Jounce makes a draft with the template’s steps and opens it, with the choices only you can make marked on the steps.
- The automation template galleryThe gallery’s goal buttons and Industry menu narrow the cards, and each card sketches its steps and counts its emails and days. There’s no search box or preview: selecting a card makes the draft at once.
- Start an automation with AISelect Create automation, then Start with AI, describe what the automation should do, and select Generate automation. Jounce drafts the trigger and the steps, then opens the draft for you to finish.
- Start an automation from scratchSelect Create automation, then Start from scratch below the two boxes. Jounce opens an empty automation named Untitled with only its trigger in place.
- Why does my new automation have red warnings on its steps?A template or an AI draft leaves the choices only you can make, and each marked step names its own. Nothing is broken: select the step and pick the form, segment, email, or date it asks for.
- Why didn’t Jounce draft my automation? The line Jounce showed says why, and nothing was created: your description is still in the box. Fix what the line names and try again, or start from a template if drafting is switched off.
