Your account
Sign up, set up Jounce the first time, sign in, verify your email, and reset a password.
- Set up Jounce the first time you sign inAfter you sign up, Jounce opens setup: your website or business name, a few one-tap questions, then your brand, which Save brand keeps. Then you pick where to start: Make your first email, Make a sign-up form, or Look around first.
- Create your Jounce accountOn the sign-up page choose Continue with Google, or Continue with email and a password of at least 8 characters. An email sign-up verifies its address first, then Jounce walks you through setting up your brand.
- Sign in to JounceOn the sign-in page choose Continue with Google, or Continue with email and enter your email and password. Jounce opens on your Emails page.
- Verify your email addressOpen the email called Verify your email for Jounce and select Verify email. If the page that opens asks, select Verify email there too.
- What Jounce reads from your websiteIn setup, Jounce reads your site’s colors, fonts, name, and logos, and drafts your Brand profile from its words. Nothing is saved until you select Save brand, and you can change each piece later.
- Pick a look when you have no websiteOn the first setup screen, select I don’t have a website and type your business name. On the brand step, keep the look Jounce chose for your kind of business or pick another, then select Save brand.
- Your first minutes in a workspace you joinedRight after you join, Jounce asks your first name if it doesn’t know it yet, then says you’re in and offers three ways to start. Nothing you answer changes the workspace.
- Reset your passwordOn the sign-in page choose Continue with email, select Forgot password?, enter your email, and select Send reset link. The link in the email opens a page where you set a new password.
- Why can’t I sign in?It’s usually the wrong email or password, or an account made with Google. The message under the fields says what to do next, and your account is untouched.
- Why does the link in my email say it expired? Each link works once and for a limited time. The page that says so has a button for a fresh one, and your account is fine.
- Why can’t I skip a setup step?Setup has no skip and no close button on purpose: each step takes one tap or one short answer. Your answers are kept as you go, and nothing about your brand is saved until you select Save brand.
