Ask Jo to start an email, a form, or an automation

When you’re done, Jounce is drafting your email, form, or automation from a description you checked in the chat. Jo, Jounce’s AI support assistant, writes the description. Nothing is made until you select the card’s button.

1. Select Help, the question mark at the top right, then Chat with Jo.
2. Tell Jo what you’d like to make, such as a welcome email for my bakery. Once you’ve talked one through, make it is enough. Jo replies Here’s what Jounce will draft from. Tell me if anything should change., with a card under it.
3. Read the description on the card. To change something, tell Jo, such as mention the free tastings. Jo shows a new card.
4. Select the card’s button: Generate email, Generate form, or Generate automation. Jo closes, and the Start with AI page opens with the description in the box. Jounce starts drafting at once.

If Jo asks first

• Ask to make something without saying what, and Jo asks What would you like to make: an email, a form, or an automation?
• Name one with nothing to go on, and Jo asks the question its page asks. For make a form, that’s What’s the form for?
• Ask for two at once, and Jo asks which to start first.

Ask how to make one yourself, and Jo answers from an article, with no card.

What’s on the card

Jo writes the description the way you’d type it into the box: what you asked for, plus what you settled in the chat. The card never carries a number, a link, or an email address you didn’t type in this chat.

Only the newest card has a button. Older cards stay in the chat as a record of what Jo offered.

After you select Generate

The Start with AI page fills the whole window, so Jo closes as it opens. The next time you open Jo, your chat is where you left it.

From here, it goes as if you’d started from Create email, Create form, or Create automation:

• An email: see Start an email with AI.
• A form: see Start a form with AI.
• An automation: see Start an automation with AI.

When the page waits for you

The page waits instead of drafting when it has something to check with you first. Your description stays in the box until you select the button:

• On the email and form pages, a draft is open and not saved yet. A line above the box says generating replaces it.
• Your email isn’t verified. The Verify your email to use AI window opens over your words.

While the page waits, Back at its top left returns you to the page you were on.
