Why does it say this subscriber isn’t here?
Short answer
The record this link points at is gone: the person was deleted or erased, or their address changed. Everything else is where you left it.
Nothing is broken, and your list is untouched. The page reads This subscriber isn’t here. It may have been deleted, with one button, Back to subscribers.
What happened
- They were deleted. A deleted person leaves the list but isn’t gone for good. Adding the same address again brings them back with their history. See Delete subscribers.
- Their address was changed. A person’s page lives at their address. So a link saved before the change points nowhere. Open them from the list under the new address. See Change a subscriber’s email address.
- Their data was erased. An erased person can’t be found or brought back. See Erase a subscriber’s personal data.
What to do
Select Back to subscribers and search for them by name or address. If they aren’t in the list under any status, they were deleted or erased.
A page that says Nothing at this address is a different case: the link itself points nowhere. See Why does it say Nothing at this address?.
