A subscriber's page
One person’s record. Edit their name and fields, change their address, read what they’ve done, and erase their data when they ask.
- A subscriber’s page at a glanceSelect a person’s name on the Subscribers page to open their record. Their name, status, and address sit on top, what you edit on the left, and what they’ve done with your emails on the right.
- Edit a subscriber’s detailsOpen their page from the Subscribers list and type into First name, Last name, or a custom field. Jounce saves when you leave the field and shows Saved at the bottom right.
- Change a subscriber’s email addressOn their page, select Change beside the address, type the new one, and select Change address. The person keeps their history, segments, and consent under the new address.
- Custom fieldsA custom field is any detail you keep about a subscriber besides their name and address, like a company or a birthday. They come from your CSV columns, your forms, or Add custom field on a subscriber’s page, and most show on every subscriber’s page.
- Add a custom fieldOn a subscriber’s page, select Add custom field, type a name, and select Add field. The field appears here with the cursor in it, and empty on every other subscriber’s page.
- Delete a custom field’s valueSelect the three dots above the field on their page and choose Delete value. The box stays on the page, empty, and Undo in the message that follows puts the value back.
- Delete a custom fieldOn any subscriber’s page, select the three dots above the field and choose Delete field. Only Admins and Managers see it, and it takes the field and every value in it off every subscriber for good.
- The Activity listThe Activity list on a subscriber’s page is their history with you, newest first. It shows when they joined and how, each email they clicked, and any bounce, spam complaint, unsubscribe, or address change.
- The consent recordThe proof that a person agreed to hear from you, kept on their own page. Open Audience, select the person, and under Details select Consent record.
- Erase a subscriber’s personal dataOn their page, select Delete subscriber, pick Erase personal data, and confirm. Their name, address, details, and history are gone for good; only a do-not-contact record can stay.
- Why can’t I change a subscriber’s email address? The sentence under the New address field says why, and nothing has changed. Most often, someone else on your list already has the address, or mail to it has bounced before.
- Why does it say this subscriber isn’t here? The record this link points at is gone: the person was deleted or erased, or their address changed. Everything else is where you left it.
