The Emails from Jounce page

Short answer

The Emails from Jounce page in Settings has a switch for each kind of email Jounce sends you, and a Stop all button. Each switch saves the moment you flip it.

Select your avatar at the top right, choose All settings, then select Emails from Jounce under Personal. The line under the title says what the page is for: Choose which emails Jounce sends you.

These are Jounce’s own emails to you. The emails you send your subscribers aren’t on this page.

The four switches

Each switch is one kind of email, and each starts on:

  • Results and activity
  • When something gets stuck
  • Tips
  • Offers

Turn a kind off, and Jounce sends you none of it. There’s no Save button: each switch saves the moment you flip it. If a save fails, the switch goes back and Jounce says Couldn’t save that. Try again.

Your choices go with your login, not the workspace, so they hold in every workspace you’re in. They cover email only. The bell at the top right still lists what needs you; see Notifications.

Stop all

Stop all turns every switch off at once. Jounce says Stopped. Jounce won’t send you any of these. With every switch already off, it has nothing left to do. Turn a switch back on to get that kind again.

Each email of the four kinds ends with a link that turns that kind off. On an email about your own work, the link reads Turn off emails like this. On a tip or an offer, it reads Turn off tips and offers, and turns off both.

The link opens a page with a box for each of the four kinds, and you don’t need to sign in. What the link turns off is already unticked. The page says Press Save to stop the emails you unticked. Nothing changes until you press Save. Stop all turns all four off.

If your mail app shows its own Unsubscribe button, it turns off the same emails at once.

What still arrives

The page says You’ll still get emails about your account and billing.

The email Jounce sends when someone signs up through one of your forms has its own switch, in that form’s settings. See Get an email when someone signs up.

If the page doesn’t load

The page says Couldn’t load your email choices. Select Try again.
