Why won’t my logo upload?
Short answer
The file is the wrong type, too large, or an SVG Jounce couldn’t convert, and your brand is unchanged. The message at the bottom of the page names the fix: a PNG, JPG, GIF, or WebP under 10 MB.
Your brand kept the logo it had, or none. Jounce says what stopped the upload in a message at the bottom of the page.
| Jounce says | What to do |
|---|---|
| That file isn’t an image. Choose a PNG, JPG, GIF, or WebP for your logo. | Export the logo as one of those. A PDF or a document won’t do. |
| That file is over the 10 MB limit. Choose a smaller one. | Export a smaller version. A logo shows at a modest width in email, so a huge file gains nothing. |
| Jounce couldn’t convert that SVG. Your brand kit is unchanged — export the logo as a PNG and upload that. | Open the SVG in your design tool and export a PNG. |
| Jounce turned that SVG into a PNG, and it’s over the 10 MB limit. Your brand kit is unchanged — export a smaller PNG and upload that. | Export a PNG yourself, at a smaller size. |
| That logo is over the 10 MB limit. Your brand kit is unchanged — choose a smaller one. | Export a smaller version. |
| That logo didn’t upload. Your brand kit is unchanged — try again. | The upload stalled, often a dropped connection, or the image is a kind email can’t use, such as HEIC or TIFF. Select Upload logo again; if it fails twice, export a PNG or JPG. |
Why SVG is different
Mail apps don’t show SVG images, so Jounce turns an SVG into a PNG before it uploads. Most convert fine. One that doesn’t needs a PNG from you.
