Members
The Members page: who is in your workspace, what each person can do, who owns it, the workspace name and icon, and the two ways someone leaves.
- The Members pageThe Members page lists everyone in your workspace with their role, marks the owner, and ends with Leave workspace. Admins also see the workspace name and icon, a role menu and three dots beside each person, the Invite button, and pending invites.
- Rename your workspaceOn the Members page, edit the Workspace name box and click away; only Admins see the box. Jounce saves it and the new name shows in the account menu, the Workspaces panel, and the review step before a send.
- Change your workspace iconOn the Members page, under Workspace icon, select Change icon and pick an image; only Admins see the control. The icon shows beside the workspace’s name in Jounce, never in your emails.
- Change a member’s roleOn the Members page, an Admin opens the role menu on the person’s row and picks Admin, Manager, or Editor. Jounce saves it at once, and no one can change their own role.
- Make someone else the ownerOn the Members page, an Admin selects the three dots at the end of the person’s row, chooses Make owner, and confirms. Replies to the workspace’s emails and Jounce’s emails about it then go to that person.
- Remove a memberOn the Members page, an Admin selects the three dots at the end of the person’s row, chooses Remove from workspace, and confirms. They lose access right away, and everything they made stays in the workspace.
- Leave a workspaceAt the bottom of the Members page, select Leave workspace, then confirm. You lose access right away, and everything you made stays behind.
- Why does it say a workspace needs at least one admin? You tried to remove, demote, or leave as the workspace’s only admin, and a workspace always keeps one, so nothing changed. Make someone else an Admin first, then try again.
- Why can’t I change a member’s role or remove them? You’re not an Admin of this workspace, so rows show a role badge instead of a menu, or it’s your own row. No one changes their own role or removes themselves, and nothing is wrong with the workspace.
