Why can’t Jounce find my location?
Short answer
Use my current location needs your browser’s permission and a location it can read. When either is missing, Jounce says which, and typing the address works the same.
Your address form is untouched unless Jounce found your area. Type the address instead, and Jounce saves it the same way. The message says what happened.
| Jounce says | What to do |
|---|---|
| Location access is blocked. Turn it on in your browser settings, or type your address. | Your browser refused to share your location. Allow location for Jounce in its site settings, then try again. |
| Your browser can’t detect your location. Type your address. | The browser has no location feature. Type the address. |
| Your location isn’t available right now. Type your address. | The device couldn’t find where you are. Try again soon, or type the address. |
| Finding your location took too long. Try again, or type your address. | The lookup ran out of time. Try again, or type the address. |
| Jounce couldn’t find an address for your location. Type it in. | Jounce found where you are, but no street address matches it. Type the address. |
| Jounce found your area, but not your exact street — type your street address below. | The reading was rough. The area is filled in; finish Street address yourself. |
If it filled the wrong address
The button fills the fields from the browser’s reading, which can be off by a street or two. Fix any field by typing over it. Jounce saves again once the address is complete. See The Address page.
The fix, either way
Type the address into the five fields. See Add your mailing address.
