Why isn’t my email in Recent sends?
Short answer
The table holds the ten newest sends in the time range. An older send, an automation’s email, a test email, or a send that’s still going out won’t be in it.
Your email and its numbers are untouched. It’s missing from the table for one of these reasons.
More than ten sends in the range
Recent sends shows the ten newest. An older send still counts in the cards above. Only its row is missing. Open Emails in the top bar, point at the email’s card, and select View results. See Open an email’s results.
It finished before the range began
The range checks the day the send finished. For an A/B test, it checks the day the test went out, not the day of the winner’s send. Pick a longer range at the top right. 12 months is the longest. For anything older, use the Emails page. See Choose a time range.
It’s an automation’s email
An automation’s emails never appear on the Emails tab. Look on the Automations tab, or open the automation’s insights page. See Open an automation’s insights.
It hasn’t finished sending
A scheduled email joins the table when it goes out. An email that’s still sending joins when it finishes. An A/B test joins once its test has gone out, before the winner’s send. A send that failed before reaching anyone never appears. Its card on the Emails page says what happened; see Why did my send fail?
It was a test email
A test email you send to yourself never counts, here or anywhere else on Analytics.
The subject line looks different
An A/B test shows its first subject line, with both versions and the winner’s send counted as one row.
