Reading your numbers
The Analytics page itself: the time range, the four tabs, which numbers follow the range, what a dash or a plus sign means, and what to do when a tab is empty, behind, or won’t load.
- The Analytics pageAnalytics is one page with four tabs across the top: Subscribers, Emails, Forms, and Automations. Each tab shows a row of cards, then a chart or a table, for the time range you pick.
- Choose a time rangeOpen Analytics and pick 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 12 months at the right of the page title. Every tab reads the range you picked, and a card that follows it says so under its number.
- Which numbers follow the time rangeA number follows the time range only when it counts something that happened on a date. A card that stayed the same describes your list or an automation as it stands, so it reads the same in every range.
- Open results from AnalyticsOn the Emails tab, a row under Recent sends opens that email’s results; on the Automations tab, a row under Your automations opens its insights. Both come back through Back to analytics.
- Dashes, plus signs, and the As of lineA dash means there is no real number to show, never a zero. A plus sign after a count marks a floor, and the As of line says when the numbers were fetched.
- Why is an Analytics tab empty? An empty tab means there is nothing in the range to count yet, and the message says what. On the Emails tab a wider time range often fills it; the other tabs fill once you have a subscriber, a form, or an automation.
- Why are my Analytics numbers behind? The As of line under the page title says when the numbers on screen were fetched. Jounce shows the last numbers it had first, so the page can read a little behind.
- Why won’t Analytics load?A tab that reads Couldn’t load couldn’t reach your numbers this time, and your data is safe. Select Try again, and if it keeps failing, reload the page a little later.
