Why won’t Analytics load?
Short answer
A tab that reads Couldn’t load couldn’t reach your numbers this time, and your data is safe. Select Try again, and if it keeps failing, reload the page a little later.
Jounce couldn’t fetch that tab’s numbers this time. Nothing about your subscribers, emails, forms, or automations has changed; only the count failed to arrive. The message names the tab, as Couldn’t load your email analytics, and the line under it says what is safe, as Your sends and their data are safe.
What to do
- Select Try again. Jounce asks for the numbers once more. Pressing it again while it works does nothing extra.
- If it fails again, wait a little and reload the page.
- If every tab fails, check your connection. Analytics needs one to fetch its counts.
A tab that loaded before
A tab you’ve already seen keeps its last numbers when a refresh fails, and the As of line keeps their time. It shows the error only when it has nothing to show at all, or when you changed the range and the new range couldn’t load. See Why are my Analytics numbers behind?
When Subscribers by location won’t load
Subscribers by location loads on its own, so the rest of the Subscribers tab still shows. When it can’t load, the section reads Couldn’t load your locations and Your subscribers are safe. Select Try again in the section. On a country’s own map, the line reads Couldn’t load this country’s places, with a Try again of its own.
A tab that stays grey
Grey placeholder shapes mean the first load is still on its way. They appear only when Jounce has nothing earlier to show. A brief wait is normal on the first open of the day; a long one usually ends in the message above.
