Why doesn’t the Automations tab match an automation’s insights?

Short answer

Entered on the tab counts only the time range, but the insights page counts everyone who ever entered. The other numbers in an automation’s row match its insights page; the cards add every automation together.

Both pages use the same counts, so a gap is one of four things. Your automations and their numbers are untouched either way.

Entered covers a different span

The Entered card and column count people who went into an automation during the time range at the top right. The page opens on the last 30 days. But the insights page’s Entered counts everyone who ever went in. An automation that has run for a year shows a year’s people there and a month’s here.

Pick a longer range to close the gap. 12 months is the longest, and the insights page covers the whole life. See Choose a time range.

Every other number in the row ignores the range. So In it now, Sent, Open, and Click match the cards on its insights page.

The cards add every automation together

Emails sent, Open rate, and Click rate at the top of the tab are one total for every automation, including any you have deleted. An automation’s insights page shows that automation alone. To compare one automation, read its row in Your automations, not the cards. See What the Automations tab counts.

The numbers are a minute old

Jounce shows the numbers it already loaded for about a minute before it asks for fresh ones. Someone who entered a moment ago can take about a minute to count. Reload the page once a minute has passed.

The As of line under the page title says when Jounce loaded the numbers on screen. See Why are my Analytics numbers behind?

A different workspace

Each workspace has its own automations and its own Analytics. Select your avatar at the top right; the account menu names the workspace you’re in. See Switch workspaces.
