Emails
The Emails tab on Analytics: the four cards and the bounces line, the engagement chart, opens by mail app and clicks by device across your sends, the Recent sends table, what the tab counts, and why its rates can differ from one email’s results page.
- The Emails tabThe Emails tab adds up every email you sent in the time range. It has four cards, a bounces and complaints line, a chart of each send’s open and click rate, two ranked lists, and Recent sends.
- See how your emails did over a periodOpen Analytics, choose the Emails tab, and pick a time range. The four cards add up every send in it, and Recent sends compares the sends one by one.
- See how many people unsubscribed in a periodOn the Emails tab of Analytics, the Unsubscribe rate card counts who opted out from the emails you sent in your time range. The Subscribers tab’s Unsubscribed card is your whole list, whatever the range.
- What the Emails tab countsThe tab adds up every email you sent from the Emails page that went out inside the time range. Automation emails and test emails aren’t on this tab.
- Opens by mail app and clicks by device across your sendsTwo ranked lists on the Emails tab add up every send in the range: Clicks by device (Mobile, Desktop, Tablet) and Opens by mail app. The mail app list shows only once the whole range is after Jounce began recording mail apps.
- The Recent sends tableThe last table on the Emails tab lists the ten newest sends in the range, newest first. Each row shows status, recipients, open and click rates, and date, and selecting one opens that email’s results page.
- Why don’t Analytics rates match an email’s results page? The Emails tab adds every send in the range into one total, while an email’s results page shows unsubscribes and complaints as counts, not rates. The numbers are right on both pages.
- Why does Analytics say complaints are high?Your emails in the range drew more than one spam complaint, and the complaints are 0.1% or more of the mail delivered. Open each send in Recent sends to find which drew them, and send only to people who asked for your emails.
- Why isn’t my email in Recent sends? The table holds the ten newest sends in the time range. An older send, an automation’s email, a test email, or a send that’s still going out won’t be in it.
