Who can change sending settings
Short answer
Every member can change the From name and select Verify on a domain. Only an Admin or a Manager can add or remove a domain; each person verifies their own sign-in email.
Sending settings belong to the workspace, so what you can change follows your role. Workspace roles explains the three roles.
| Setting | Who |
|---|---|
| From name | Every member |
| Add a domain | Admins and Managers |
| Verify a domain’s records | Every member |
| Remove domain | Admins and Managers |
| Your email verification | You, for your own sign-in email |
The From name
Every member can change it, on the Sending page or on the Review step before a send. It is one name for the whole workspace, so a change shows on everyone’s next send.
The sending domain
An Editor sees the Your own sending domain card with no field. It shows one line: Admins and managers set up a sending domain.
Once a domain is added, every member can select Verify to see if the records are confirmed. That is how anyone on the team can finish a setup an Admin started. Only Admins and Managers see Remove domain.
Your email
The Your email card is about the account you are signed in with, not the workspace. Jounce asks each person who signed up with a password to verify their own address before their first send. A teammate’s verified email doesn’t cover yours. See Verify your email address.
