Disconnect an AI tool

Short answer

On the Claude, ChatGPT & Gemini page, an Admin or Manager selects Disconnect beside the tool under Connected AI tools, then Disconnect app. The tool is cut off right away, and you can connect it again from the tool any time.

When you’re done, the tool is gone from the Connected AI tools list and can no longer read your workspace. You need to be an Admin or a Manager of the workspace.

  1. Select your avatar at the top right and choose All settings, then Integrations under Workspace.
  2. Select Set up on the Claude, ChatGPT & Gemini card. Connected AI tools at the bottom of the page lists every tool that has connected.
  3. Select Disconnect at the end of the tool’s row. The row asks Disconnect ⟨tool⟩?, with Keep it and then a red Disconnect app.
  4. Select Disconnect app. Keep it, or Esc, closes the question with nothing changed.

The Connected AI tools row asking Disconnect Claude?, with Keep it first and the red Disconnect app ringed after it.

What happens next

The card’s own line holds: Disconnect an app and it’s cut off right away.

  • The tool’s access ends at once. The next question it asks Jounce fails on its side.
  • Nothing in your workspace changes. The tool only ever read your numbers and Jounce’s help, so there is nothing to undo.

Note When someone leaves the workspace, is removed, or becomes an Editor, Jounce disconnects the AI tools they connected. There’s nothing to do here.

When Jounce refuses

  • Jounce couldn’t disconnect that app, so it’s still connected. Try again. The request didn’t reach Jounce, so select Disconnect app once more.
  • Only workspace admins and managers can do this. The button showed before Jounce finished checking your role, or your role changed; see Why does it say admins and managers approve connections?

Note Zapier and apps built on the developer API aren’t on this list. Disconnect those under Connected apps on the Integrations page; see Disconnect a connected app.

Next step

To reconnect, start from the tool. Add the connector again with your MCP link, and approve it when the tool opens Jounce; see Connect Claude to Jounce.
